Job Position: Data Engineer

Job duties: Creating data models using that support the organization's business requirements. Developing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable. Designing and implementing ELT/ETL processes to extract and transform data from various sources. Creating reusable modules in Python/Java/Scala and integrating the modules in data pipeline. Setting up CI/CD pipelines for deployment. Configure and orchestrate computing units to dynamically run applications as per

schedule for module services. Loading and maintaining the data in Datawarehouse storage layer. Optimizing queries performance and resource utilization. Migrating on prem application to cloud

services to scale and modernize the of application. Collaborating with data stewards and business analysts to ensure data governance and compliance. Integrating real time data from different

sources by streaming services. Building data pipelines to automate the flow of data between systems. Implementing and managing datawarehouses for storing and retrieving large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Managing access controls, masking and encryption to safeguard sensitive information. Monitoring and optimizing the performance of data systems and data

pipeline by creating custom dashboards. Maintain machine learning models by executing and debugging existing models.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, and 24 months work experience as data engineer or closely related occupations. Foreign equivalent degrees accepted.

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: $ 102,440.00 per year

TECHZON, INC has multiple full-time positions (M-F, 8a-5p) for DATA ENGINEER in Plano, TX.

The worksite is 8105 Rasor Blvd, Plano TX 75024. Travel is required when consulting

services are required at unanticipated, client-specified locations. The need for travel depends on client requirement pursuant to service agreements and/or statements of work. Due to the nature of travel requirement, the specific geographic location/s cannot be identified with reasonable certainty. Travel of this nature may occur up to 7% on an average per month, with the employee potentially staying at or around the client location from less than one day to up to 3 days. There is no international travel involved.
